Roz Van Meter has a private practice as an individual and couples therapist, and also a sex therapist. To make an appointment, call (214) 361-0500 and leave your name, number, and the best time to return your call.

Roz's clients come not only from the Dallas/Fort Worth area, but also from East Texas, West Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana.

She works by appointment only, on Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday from 10:00 AM till 6:00 PM, and on Friday from 10:00 AM till 4:00 PM. The office is closed on weekends.

About insurance: If you have health insurance, there is a very high likelihood that your therapy is covered.

Roz's clients pay at the end of each therapy session ($150 per hour) and receive a receipt/statement with all appropriate insurance codes to get reimbursal from the insurance company. Although Roz does not participate in managed care, most companies will reimburse a percentage of the fee.

You can check it out ahead of time. Call your insurance carrier and ask what percentage they reimburse for counseling if you see a provider who is not on their panel.

What if you don't have insurance, or choose not to use it? Some clients schedule appointments every second or third week, so they can budget for the therapy fee. Therapy usually costs less than attending a semester of college, and can bring far greater dividends.
